Thelemic Star of Increase
A Thelemic abundance working that aligns material increase with the practitioner's True Will, tracing an unicursal hexagram to draw wealth in service of purpose rather than mere accumulation.
Ritual Overview
Thelema treats undirected desire with suspicion — wanting money simply to have money is, in Thelemic terms, a misalignment likely to sabotage itself. The Star of Increase instead frames abundance as fuel for the practitioner's True Will, asking the working to succeed only insofar as the increase serves that deeper purpose.
The rite centers on tracing the unicursal hexagram, Crowley's preferred variant, while holding in mind not the money itself but the specific work that money would enable. Each of the hexagram's six points is spoken aloud as a facet of the desired increase — six ways the resource would be used in service of Will — before the final invocation calls on the sun as the star at the hexagram's center, the source of both light and directed force.
Practitioners of this rite often report that it clarifies as much as it attracts: sitting with the six-point articulation sometimes reveals that the 'need' for increase was itself misaligned, redirecting the working before it even completes. This makes it as much a discernment tool as a prosperity spell.
Ritual Steps
State the Will
Read the written statement of True Will aloud, grounding the working in purpose rather than plain desire.
10 minutes
Trace the Unicursal Hexagram
With wand or blade, trace the unicursal hexagram in the air in a single unbroken line, lighting the candle as it completes.
15 minutes
Visualization
A six-pointed star drawn in unbroken silver-gold light, hanging steady in the air before you.
Name the Six Facets
At each of the hexagram's six points in turn, speak aloud one specific way increased resource would serve the stated Will.
15 minutes
Invoke the Central Sun
Focus on the hexagram's center, invoking solar force as the source binding all six facets together into one directed current.
10 minutes
Visualization
A golden sun igniting at the star's heart, sending threads of light out along each of the six points.
Release and Close
