Ritual Overview
In chaos magick, the Void is the primordial state from which all manifestation arises. This rite goes directly to the root — the unmanifest nothingness.
The practitioner enters gnosis and observes the target. Without fighting it, they simply withdraw all energy from it.
The target collapses and dissolves. The space is sealed with the Eightfold Chaos Star.

Perceive the Target
See the unwanted energy or entity as a form before you.

Dissolve into the Void
Withdraw all attention from the form. Watch it shrink and disappear.

The form shrinks, colors fading, until it pops into nothing.
Seal with the Eightfold Star
Trace the Eightfold Chaos Star. Intone the sealing.

The star blazes with black-and-white light, sealing the space.
Return and Ground
Snuff candle. Stamp feet. Eat something salty.
