Ritual Overview
Aphrodite's Embrace is a ritual for those who have already found love and wish to temper it in the forge of divine passion. The goddess Aphrodite Urania, the celestial aspect of love that transcends mere physical attraction, is called upon to bless a union with her golden fire, transforming comfortable affection into an unquenchable flame.
The working requires both partners to participate together, facing each other naked within a circle of rose petals and sea shells. A pink candle between them represents the heart of the relationship, while two smaller red candles symbolize each partner's individual passion. The invocation of Aphrodite is spoken by both partners in unison.
Once the goddess has blessed the union, the partners anoint each other with a specially prepared oil of damiana, ylang-ylang, and cinnamon — each herb chosen for its correspondence to passion, sensuality, and courage in love. They share a chalice of pomegranate juice and honey, sealing the bond with the sweetness of the goddess herself.
Ritual Steps

Both partners create a circular boundary using rose petals and sea shells. Place the large pink candle in the center with two red candles flanking it.
