The ceremony unfolds in seven stages, corresponding to the seven metals and planets, with Venus at the center. A silver ring — for silver is the metal of Venus — is cleansed in salt water and moonfire, then engraved with the planetary seal of Venus while the practitioner chants the Orphic Hymn to Aphrodite. The ring is then charged in a circle of rose petals, jasmine, and copper wire, drawing down the green-pink ray of Venus into the metal.

Once consecrated, the Ring of Venus acts as a permanent lodestone for romantic opportunities. Those who wear it report synchronistic meetings, a gentle increase in their natural charm, and the arrival of partners who reflect their deepest values. The ring must be recharged each Venus day (Friday) with a single rose placed upon the altar.

Ritual Steps

Cleanse the Ring

Submerge the silver ring in a bowl of salt water mixed with rosewater. Leave it under the light of a waxing moon for one full night to purify it of all previous energetic imprints.

Engrave the Venus Seal

Using the athame, carefully scratch the astral seal of Venus onto the inner surface of the ring. Trace each line with focused intention while vibrating "Aphrodite Ourania" seven times.

Construct the Venus Circle

Arrange rose petals in a seven-pointed star pattern on the altar. Circle the star with copper wire. Place the ring at the center. Light the white candle at the top point of the star.

Charge and Seal

Hold the ring in your dominant hand and pour your intention for love into it. Speak your desire as if already manifested. Drip wax onto the ring, then wipe clean with rose oil. Repeat for six additional Fridays.
