Wheel of Fortune Alignment
A ritual that aligns the practitioner with the beneficial turning of the cosmic Wheel of Fortune, attracting synchronicities, lucky breaks, and favorable timing.
Ritual Overview
The Wheel of Fortune is one of the most mysterious forces in the universe — the turning of the great cosmic wheel that determines the rise and fall of circumstances, the meeting of souls, and the timing of events. The Wheel of Fortune Alignment does not attempt to control the wheel's turning but rather to align the practitioner with its most favorable positions, ensuring that when opportunity comes, they are ready to receive it.
The working employs the seven symbols of the Wheel as they appear in the tarot and hermetic traditions: the four fixed signs of the zodiac (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), the angelic beings, and the central hub of divine will. The practitioner creates a physical wheel — drawn on parchment or constructed from wire — and marks eight positions around its circumference corresponding to the spokes of destiny.
By turning the wheel while focusing on their intention for good fortune, the practitioner synchronizes their own energetic rhythm with the larger rhythm of cosmic timing. The ritual is most effective when performed during the astrological ingress of Jupiter into a new sign, during a Jupiter hour, or when the Moon is in a favorable aspect to Jupiter. The effects include increased synchronicities, unexpected lucky encounters, and a sense of being in the right place at the right time.
Ritual Steps
Draw the Wheel
On the parchment, draw a large circle divided into eight equal spokes. At the center, draw a six-pointed star. Around the rim, write: "I AM THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL. THE WHEEL TURNS FOR ME." Use gold ink for the star and blue for the rim.
30 minutes
Visualization
As you draw each spoke, it glows with golden light. The center star pulses, becoming the hub of your personal wheel of destiny.
Place the Candles
Place the eight candles around the wheel, one at each outer point. Light them starting from the east and moving deosil (clockwise). With each candle, speak a blessing: "Luck in love, luck in wealth, luck in health, luck in work, luck in travel, luck in learning, luck in friendship, luck in spirit."
10 minutes
Visualization
Each candle flame sends a golden beam into the center of the wheel, weaving a web of fortunate light.
Magnetize the Center
Place the lodestone at the center of the wheel, on top of the six-pointed star. As you do, say: "As this stone draws iron, so I draw good fortune. Luck flows to me from all directions." Pass the athame over the lodestone to energize it.
5 minutes
Visualization
The lodestone begins to glow and pulls golden threads from each candle toward the center, gathering them into a radiant sphere of luck.
Turn the Wheel
Place your finger at the eastern edge of the wheel and slowly turn it deosil. As you turn, focus on the feeling of luck already flowing into your life. Experience gratitude for the lucky breaks that are on their way. Turn the wheel three full rotations.
10 minutes
Visualization
As the wheel turns, the universe responds. The golden sphere at the center spins and sends out sparks of luck in all directions — each spark an opportunity, a synchronicity, a fortunate encounter.
Seal and Carry
Let the candles burn down. When cool, fold the parchment wheel around the lodestone and tie it with a gold ribbon. Carry this talisman in your bag or pocket for seven days to seal the luck alignment.
10 minutes
Visualization
The folded wheel pulses gently against you as you carry it, constantly broadcasting the frequency of good fortune into your auric field.
Warnings & Ethics
The Wheel of Fortune brings luck within the natural flow of destiny — it does not override free will or create luck from nothing.
