Ritual Overview
The Mirror of Retribution is a justice-based cursing that does not create new harm but reflects existing harm back to its source. It operates on the Hermetic principle of Correspondence — as within, so without — and the karmic law that all actions return to their origin. This working is not for the petty or the vengeful; it is for those who have suffered genuine harm and seek cosmic balance when earthly justice has failed.
The ritual requires a small mirror, which is ritually prepared to become a sympathetic link to the target. A photograph, name paper, or personal object of the target is bound to the mirror with black thread, and the mirror is then veiled with a black cloth. Over the course of seven days, the practitioner feeds the mirror with the recitation of harms done — each harm charged with emotional energy and directed into the mirror's reflective surface.
On the seventh night, the veil is removed, and the mirror is positioned to face outward. From this moment forward, any harm that the target directs toward others (or toward the practitioner) is reflected back to them with amplified force. The mirror does not punish — it simply restores balance by returning what was sent. The practitioner must be prepared for the intensity of this reflection and should only use the Mirror of Retribution when all other avenues of justice have been exhausted.
Ritual Steps
Prepare the Sympathetic Link
Write the target's full name on a piece of parchment using dragon's blood ink. If you have a photograph, place it backsides-up. Place the name paper or photograph against the back of the mirror and bind it in place with black thread, crisscrossing seven times in each direction.

Recite the Harms (Day 1-7)
Each evening for seven days, light the black candle and hold the bound mirror in your hands. Recite aloud every specific harm the target has caused. Do not embellish — state facts. Charge each harm into the mirror with your breath. After 30 minutes, cover the mirror with the black cloth and store it in the box.

As you recite each harm, it appears as a dark shape in the candle flame, then flies into the mirror where it is absorbed into the reflective surface.
The Binding
On the third day, after recitation, speak the binding: "As you have sown, so shall you reap. Every harm you have caused returns to you now. The mirror does not lie. The mirror does not forget. So mote it be."

Remove the Veil
On the seventh night, do not recite harms. Instead, remove the black cloth from the mirror and place it facing outward. The mirror is now active. From this moment, any harm the target directs at others is reflected back.

Maintain or Dismiss
The mirror will remain active indefinitely. To dismiss it, wrap it in white cloth and submerge it in running water for three hours, then bury it. To maintain it, leave it facing outward. Check weekly that the sympathetic link remains intact.

Warnings & Ethics
This is not a spell to be taken lightly. The Mirror of Retribution returns ALL harm — if the target has caused genuine harm, they will feel it. But the caster must be certain of their cause. Misuse of this working can rebound.
