Sigil of the Closed Door

Sigil magic works by compressing a full sentence of intent into a single abstract glyph, charging it in a moment of altered focus, then releasing the sentence entirely so the unconscious can act on it without the conscious mind's interference. The Sigil of the Closed Door applies this method to a narrow, defensive statement of intent: that a named person's harmful attention toward the caster stops reaching them, full stop.

The glyph is built from the statement itself, letters stripped of vowels and repeats and then overlaid into a single continuous shape, drawn without lifting the pen. Because the intent is boundary and closure rather than any change to the other person's life, mind, or circumstances, the working sits closer to a locked door than to a weapon — it does not reach toward them, it simply stops answering when they knock.

Charging is done through brief, sharp gnosis — physical exertion, held breath, or startle — rather than prolonged meditation, in keeping with standard sigil practice. Once charged, the sigil is destroyed immediately, since holding onto it or admiring the finished glyph is understood to leak intent back into the conscious mind and weaken the working.
